About the Internship

The Department of Roads and Transport invites applications from suitably qualified graduates for an Internship Programme within the Policy, Legislation, Research and Knowledge Management unit.

This programme offers recent graduates valuable exposure to government policy development, research processes, and knowledge management systems within the public sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and research support within the unit.
  • Assist with policy development and legislative review processes.
  • Support knowledge management initiatives and documentation processes.
  • Perform duties as delegated by supervisors.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be unemployed and have not previously participated in an internship programme.
  • Hold a National Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
    • Library & Knowledge Management
    • Public Management
    • Governance
    • Information Science
