Corporate Education and Voluntary Compliance Intern
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Duration: 12 Months
Stipend: R12 000 per month
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), an entity of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, invites applications from suitably qualified graduates for the position of Corporate Education and Voluntary Compliance Intern.
This internship programme is designed to provide unemployed graduates with practical workplace experience aligned to their field of study within a professional public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support within the Corporate Education and Voluntary Compliance Division.
- Assist with communication, education, and awareness initiatives.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities and compliance campaigns.
- Contribute to content development and coordination of outreach programmes.
- Perform general departmental support duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen.
- Aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Completed Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Communications
- Multimedia
- Media Studies
- Visual Communication
- Digital Communication
- Or related qualification
- Must not have previously participated in an internship programme of similar nature.
Competencies and Skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Professional conduct and willingness to learn.
