The Role
We are looking for an aspiring, high-energy Apprentice Teacher for our Paulshof campus. This is a unique opportunity for a student-teacher to gain hands-on experience by partnering with a Resident Teacher. You will help drive a rigorous, enquiry-based learning environment while receiving intensive coaching, feedback, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Support: Partner with Resident Teachers to deliver engaging lessons supported by technology.
- Student Engagement: Infuse joy and passion into the classroom, setting ambitious goals for student growth.
- Assessment: Work collaboratively to conduct assessments and use data to adjust instructional delivery.
- Professional Growth: Participate in daily team reflections, weekly professional development, and instructional coaching.
- Community: Communicate regularly with parents and contribute to at least one co-curricular activity per term.
- Collaboration: Participate in school committees and fulfill supervision duties (including some morning/evening/weekend events).
About You
Qualifications & Skills:
- You are currently in your 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor of Education (BEd) OR completing your PGCE in 2026.
- You are not yet a qualified teacher at the start of 2026.
- You are specializing in the Foundation Phase.
- You are provisionally SACE registered.
- Experience or knowledge of Singapore Maths, THRASS (English), or the Cambridge curriculum is a major plus.
- Adept at using technology for instruction.
